BP Castrol Drama Club staged “Kadında Bırak”

BP Castrol Drama Club staged the play “Kadında Bırak” at Istanbul Ataşehir Zübeyde Hanım In-service Training Institute on May 8. Serpil Göral was the director of the play watched by BP and Castrol Turkey employees as well as many other theater lovers.

The cast consisted of 8 BP and Castrol Turkey women employees at different levels and from different units. Aylin Kızılay, Ayşe Er, Berna Çavdar, Çiğdem Akçiçek, Göksu Fırıncı, Neşe Yılmaz, Nihal Şahin and Zarife Dinmez showed great performance after 7 months of intense vocal, diction, breathing and choreography training as well as many rehearsals.

As the second play staged by BP Castrol Drama Club, “Kadında Bırak” is a musical comedy which aims to make a contribution to a social responsibility project, and to raise awareness about the women’s place and current situation in society. The play was first performed on May 3 in Kadıköy, Taşra Kabare and it was staged three times in total. The last performance was on May 8 at Istanbul Ataşehir Zübeyde Hanım In-service Training Institute. In total, 450 people watched the play in four performances. Music director of the play was Erkan Karaosman, the scene was set by Tarkan Akıncı, costumes were prepared by Bilge Seven Bulut, dance scenes were directed by Emin Ünver, and lights were designed by Ayşe Ayter.
