New heavy duty engine oil from FUCHS

As part of the introduction of the new Euro VI-d standard for heavy duty vehicles, in addition to others, MAN has published a new specification for engine oils the MAN M 3977. This specification has been specially developed to reduce fuel consumption, pollution and CO2 emissions in the new MAN Euro VI-d engines.
For these savings to be possible, this specification requires a low viscosity grade SAE 0W-20 or SAE 5W-20, as well as lower HTHS value. In addition, the specification must meet specific MAN tests.

Especially due to its low viscosity grade, the MAN M 3977 specification and also the SCANIA LDF-5 specification are not compatible with older specifications, such as MAN M 3677 or SCANIA LDF-4 respectively.
TITAN CARGO PRO T SAE 5W-20 has been specially developed for state-of-the-art heavy-duty vehicles with exhaust gas treatment systems from MAN and SCANIA, both companies belonging to the TRATON Group.

Thanks to its low ash additive technology, TITAN CARGO PRO T SAE 5W-20 protects modern exhaust gas treatment systems as well as particulate filters, exhaust gas recirculation systems and catalytic converters in the best possible way against deposits or poisoning and promotes their reliable operation throughout the entire change interval. Additionally, it provides very good engine cleanliness.
TITAN CARGO PRO T SAE 5W-20 provides excellent wear protection compared to motor oils of higher viscosity classes.

TITAN CARGO PRO T SAE 5W-20 will replace TITAN CARGO PRO 3977 SAE 5W-20 in the future and, due to MAN approval, can be used in all applications where TITAN CARGO PRO 3977 SAE 5W-20 was previously used.
