Petrol Ofisi – BÜYEM partnership, a first in the lubricants sector

Petrol Ofisi Lubricants has collaborated with Boğaziçi University Lifelong Learning Center (BÜYEM) to organize an ‘Executive Development Program’ for all PO distributors across Turkey. The training program aims to support the growth of distributors and contribute to the development of companies in various areas from sales methods to finance management. First part of the training has been completed. Certificate ceremony was held for the first part of the training with the participation of Ulvi Kılıç, Sales Manager at Petrol Ofisi.

In his speech, Kılıç said: “Petrol Ofisi is the leader of the lubricants sector for the last 7 years. On the basis of our mission as the sector’s leader, we aim to increase the qualified workforce and to make sustainable contribution to our business partners. In this regard, we have broken a new ground in our sector and collaborated with the Lifelong Learning Center of Boğaziçi University, one of the most prestigious education institutions in Turkey. We provide educational support to each company under the roof of the leader brand, to help them develop and become leaders in their field of activity.”

Trainings focus on both management and personal development

The Executive Development Program, provided by Boğaziçi University lecturers, has 21 different training subjects. Within the scope of the first part of the training, which was completed in 16 days with the participation of 24 Petrol Ofisi lubricant distributors; relation management and communication, transition to corporate management in family businesses, finance management, financial performance, human resources management, customer-oriented sales management, leadership skills, personal image, skill management, business development, and financial risk management subjects were taught.

In the second part of the training, which is planned as an 18-day program to be completed in the last quarter of the year; innovation and creativity, strategy implementation, team management, customer-oriented thinking and behavior, budget planning and control, process improvement, work safety, conflict management, change management, performance improving, collection management, and 7 powers of persuasion subjects were discussed.
