Help for TURKIYE

Thousands of people lost their lives in the devastating earthquakes that took place in Kahramanmaraş which caused massive destruction in several cities of Türkiye and Syria. The thousands of people who were injured in the earthquake became homeless and are struggling to survive in difficult winter conditions. Almost 15 million people need help for their basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter and heating. We call on the whole world to help Türkiye in the name of peace and friendship.

The cities of Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Hatay, Gaziantep, Malatya, Diyarbakır, Kilis, Şanlıurfa, Osmaniye and Adana in Türkiye are facing one of the biggest disasters in the history. Thousands of people lost their lives in two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6, which occurred on February 6, one after the other. Destruction is great in cities that impress with their archaeological heritage and deep-rooted history. While the debris removal work continues, health workers are racing against time for the treatment of the injured.

Earthquake survivors, whose houses were destroyed and damaged, are trying to survive in harsh winter conditions. 15 million people are waiting for your support to meet their basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter and heating. State institutions, local governments, NGOs and the business world are mobilizing to heal the region’s wounds. Aid campaigns and civil solidarity unions organized throughout the country and beyond are giving hope in these desperate times.

Rebuilding destroyed cities is a long and difficult process. In this process, Türkiye needs your help. Make the earthquake victims feel that they are not alone and be with the people of the region in their difficult days. Help Türkiye for peace, friendship and humanity.
