50th Issue Is Out Now

As Lubricant World, we are thrilled to celebrate our 50th issue since our inception in 2016. Over the years, we have made significant strides in the institutionalization and development of the lubricants sector. Our platform has evolved into a comprehensive news source, covering petrochemical, automotive, and global sustainability topics, with a focus on legislative regulations, technological innovations, and commercial developments.

Since our founding, we have published over 1,000 news items in both Turkish and English on our website. This includes 410 current news articles, 30 facility visits, 30 product reviews, 65 technical articles, 135 columns, and nearly 100 interviews. We have also participated in 200 national and international fairs and conferences. Leading the sector in sustainability, we have prepared 42 special news items in this field. With your continued interest and support, we will carry on our work with the same enthusiasm as day one, striving for even greater achievements.

In our 50th issue, we continue to address critical topics. Our interview with TAYRAŞ Board Chairman Mehmet Afşin provides key insights into TAYRAŞ’s 2025 agenda. The company plans to transform its Bilecik facility into a Technopark focused on re-refining, with a $55 million investment, maintaining its pioneering role in the circular economy.

Italian giant Eni has intensified its sustainability and decarbonization efforts, restructuring to integrate its products and services in this area. We spoke with Luca Salvi, Head of Additives Business at Enilive, represented by ADCO in Turkey, about Enilive and Eni F.I.R.S.T. platforms.

We are also pleased to feature the ‘Sustainalyst’ Apurva Gosalia for the second time. In his special article for our 50th issue, Gosalia highlights the importance of decarbonization efforts, demonstrating with concrete examples how companies can gain more than just financial benefits from these initiatives.
