Ingevity has established a dedicated lubricants laboratory in Shanghai, China, to better serve customers in the Asia-Pacific region with new technologies and innovations. The facility is Ingevity’s second lubricants-focused technical center globally, and will provide a dedicated location where Ingevity technical staff can partner with customers to develop optimally-performing lubricant solutions. The capabilities in the Shanghai laboratory will include quality control investigations, customer formulation assistance, basic applications screening, and analytical chemical analysis.
“Establishing a lubricants laboratory in Asia Pacific strengthens our commitment to the lubricant additives market in this region,” said Nick Kob, vice president oilfield and lubricants at Ingevity. “This new technical center of excellence will allow us to partner with and serve our customers better, and we will continue to expand the service offerings we can provide from this site.”
