The cities of Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Hatay, Gaziantep, Malatya, Diyarbakır, Kilis, Şanlıurfa, Osmaniye and Adana in Türkiye are facing one of the biggest disasters in the history. Thousands of people lost their lives in two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6, which occurred on February 6, one after the other. Destruction is great in cities that impress with their archaeological heritage and deep-rooted history. While the debris removal work continues, health workers are racing against time for the treatment of the injured.
