Koçak Petroleum is now an approved R&D Center

Koçak Petroleum Company, a manufacturer of automotive and industrial lubricants and greases, has become the 496th R&D Center approved by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology according to the Law No. 5746. The company is constantly developing its R&D unit, which was established in 1989, in terms of devices, equipment, qualified personnel and innovative product segments. Now, this success has been crowned with the R&D Center entitlement.

Koçak is listed among the leader lubricant and grease manufacturers of its geography with high quality service, technology-based investments, customer-oriented personnel and sustainable growth policies. The company aims to increase the number of its export markets by focusing on innovative and niche products with the R&D center. Building on its experience and knowledge in the lubricant, grease and chemical products, Koçak Petroleum’s Deputy General Manager Tayfun Koçak indicates that the company aims to manufacture technological, innovative and niche products and particularly import products in line with sectoral developments and customer and corporate needs. He noted that they will now place a higher importance on research, development and manufacturing of new products.

“Our objective is to make Turkish and world markets prefer the technological and niche products that we manufacture through R&D works. As we are now a Research & Development Center, we have more responsibility for researching, developing and manufacturing new products and to find new solutions for industry, agriculture, marine, aviation, railway, metal, mining, construction, energy, textile, defense, iron and steel industries, and particularly the automotive industry. We added many innovative products in our product range every year before we were approved as a R&D Center. After the approval, we will attach greater importance to collaborations with universities and scientific institutions,” said Tayfun Koçak.
