As the Lubricant World Magazine, we admire the dynamism reflected in our industry and work keenly to keep up with our stakeholders’ pace. Since 2016 we closely follow the lubricant industry developments and form our editorial policy according to the latest trends. Together with the new members of our team, we continue to grow and expand our sphere of influence both domestically and internationally with the support and trust of our devoted audience.
Our magazine organized Lubricant Additives Seminar on July 6th in Istanbul, which drew a lot of attention from lubricant companies. SBZ Corporation and Tecnofluid products were introduced at the seminar, which was attended by nearly 40 representatives from 14 different companies.
Our seminar expanded the participants’ professional and technical knowledge while facilitating potential business collaborations. Lubricant World will continue to organize such events and support the growth of our subscribers’ networks.
This issue stands out with the interview of Prof. Dr. Ali Erdemir, the President of the International Tribology Council. Prof. Dr. Erdemir and his colleagues’ new research on plastic waste contains promising results for our industry. The conversion of millions of tons of plastic waste into lubricant raw materials could be a game changer for both our planet’s and our economy’s future. Prof. Erdemir’s e-mobility assessments also point to new opportunities for our industry.
One of our top priorities at Lubricant World is to form media partnerships with international conferences and congresses. While the events we attend allow us to keep up with global sectoral developments, they also enable us to communicate the voice of our stakeholders across borders and develop new collaborations. In this regard, Lubricant World will be present at the UNITI Mineral Oil Technology Congress to be held in Stuttgart, Germany on August 30 – 31, 2022. In the upcoming issue, we intend to share with you our views on this congress.
