Global lubricant manufacturer FUCHS has officially inaugurated its new Americas Technology Center in Taunton, Massachusetts, further strengthening its global research and development network. The new facility will serve as a regional hub for R&D, technical support, and customer-focused innovation across North and South America.
The 55,000-square-foot research and development center is designed to advance lubrication technologies and specialty solutions while enhancing customer collaboration through application-driven innovation. The investment is also expected to strengthen manufacturing competitiveness throughout the region.
According to Megan O’Meara, President and CEO of FUCHS Lubricants Co., the new Technology Center will enable closer collaboration with customers, helping them improve performance, increase efficiency, and develop innovative solutions tailored to their operational challenges.
As part of FUCHS’ global innovation network, the Taunton facility will connect local scientists and engineers with global technical teams, accelerating the development and commercialization of advanced lubrication solutions. The center will support applications ranging from heavy-duty industrial gearboxes and metalworking operations to semiconductor manufacturing and space exploration technologies.
FUCHS stated that the new Technology Center represents a key milestone in its long-term FUCHS100 strategy, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation and customer collaboration worldwide.
