Airbus and Turkish Technic to sign cooperation agreement

Airbus and Turkish Technic cooperate on A350 Component Repair and Exchange program in order to provide Flight Hour maintenance Services to Turkish Airlines’ A350 fleet.

Airbus and Turkish Technic have signed a long-term component pool agreement for the A350 aircraft fleet of Turkish Airlines. Under the agreement, Airbus will provide A350 aircraft parts with guaranteed availability facilitated by pool access service, on-site stock at Turkish Technic’s main base in Istanbul and component repairs.

To service this contract and future Flight Hour Services business in the Europe, Middle East & Africa region (EMEA), Airbus will extend its existing pool in Europe to cover A350 aircraft components.

Turkish Airlines will benefit from Airbus’ A350 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) knowledge and expertise starting from March 2021. This agreement will open further collaboration in the Services area between the two companies. This new contract marks the continued success of Airbus’ Flight Hour Services with more than 850 aircraft covered worldwide.
